Homework 1 Discovering and Composing: 3-Dimensional Elements and Principles
Homework One Assignment: 2 Objects
Economy- Design down to the essentials in order to increase
impact.
The image above shows
economy by showing figures/ the figures of interest in a plain environment.
This image also economizes on the flat landscape to emphasize the vertical
action of the figures. The skyline, tree line, and grass appear as horizontal
bands that are only disrupted by the figures movement.
~*~
Emphasis- Special attention given to some aspect of a
composition to increase its
prominence.
The orientation of
the petals is used to emphasize how beautiful they are. The delicacy in which
the petals were placed emphasizes the delicacy of the flower itself.
